Julaine works differently. Instead of simply adding volume, it encourages the skin to build collagen gradually over several months.
It is a good option for patients who want a slower, longer-lasting improvement in structure and skin quality.

Cheek filler restores volume through the mid-face. It can also give a gentle lift to the lower face when the volume loss is part of the problem.
Chin and jawline filler can improve profile balance, sharpen definition and soften the appearance of early jowls.
These deeper folds can be softened with filler, but the line itself is not always the full problem. Often, we need to look at cheek support too.
That is why Dr Rashid assesses the whole face before treating one crease.
Temple hollowing is easy to miss, but it can quietly age the upper face. Small amounts of filler can restore volume here in suitable patients.
Tear trough filler can soften hollowing under the eyes in the right patient.
It is one of the most technique-sensitive areas of the face. Not everyone is suitable. Eye bags, fluid retention, thin skin and certain anatomy can make filler the wrong choice.
That is assessed properly at consultation first.

The exact cost depends on the area treated, the product used and how much filler is needed. You will always be given a fixed quote at consultation before treatment goes ahead.
A single area usually costs between £200 and £595.
A two or three area plan, such as cheeks with chin or jawline, usually comes to between £650 and £950, depending on how many syringes are needed.
We would rather treat one area well than treat three areas badly.
That is the difference between a plan and just adding filler.
Hyaluronic acid fillers usually last 6 to 18 months.
Lips tend to be at the shorter end, usually 6 to 12 months, because they move constantly. Cheeks, chin and jawline often hold for longer.
Julaine results can last up to two years.
Your metabolism, the area treated and the amount used all affect how long your result lasts. For many patients, a small maintenance treatment is enough once the first result has settled.
Dr Rashid assesses your whole face, reviews your medical history and checks any previous filler. He will tell you plainly whether filler is suitable.

In the right patient, tear trough filler can give a fresher result with a small amount of product.
But it is not suitable for everyone.
Prominent eye bags, fluid retention, very thin skin or certain anatomy can make filler the wrong choice. In those cases, a regenerative treatment such as polynucleotides may be better.
Dr Rashid will assess this properly at consultation. He will not assume.
Tear trough filler is £595.
Avoid touching or pressing the treated area for 24 hours.
Avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol and heat, including saunas and hot yoga, for 24 to 48 hours.
Sleep slightly elevated on the first night if your cheeks or under-eyes have been treated.
Mild swelling and bruising are normal and usually settle within a few days.
If you notice unusual pain, blanching or a change in skin colour, call the clinic straight away.
Yes. Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase where clinically appropriate. This is one of the reasons we favour them.
Not if the treatment is planned properly. Dr Rashid assesses your whole face, uses conservative amounts and will recommend less treatment, or no treatment, if that is the better call.
Most patients describe mild discomfort rather than pain. Numbing cream is used where needed, and many fillers contain a local anaesthetic.

The main downside is that results are temporary, usually lasting 6 to 18 months. Poorly placed filler can also look heavy, move over time or distort the face. Rarer risks include infection and vascular occlusion. Choosing a doctor-led clinic, planning conservatively and using hyaluronic acid filler that can be dissolved where clinically appropriate helps reduce those risks.
