What Does The Chemical Peel Treatment Involve
Chemical peels have been used for many years now and are very effective. When administered by appropriately trained medical staff they are a safe way of dramatically improving the appearance and texture of your skin.
The Chemical Peel Process
The process begins with a consultation with one of our expert medical team, who will assess your skin type and your treatment goals, then give you the right advice on the right peel for you. You may be prescribed special creams to prepare the skin for the peel that will be performed at your second appointment.
The chemical peel is applied to the skin and left to take effect. The full benefit from the peel becomes apparent in the following weeks. The amount of peeling and recovery time depends on the strength of the chemical peel used.
Aftercare:
It is essential to use products recommended by the clinician for at least two weeks prior to having a resurfacer or peel treatment. The skin must be hydrated and healthy in order to gain the maximum benefit from the treatment.
All necessary products are available at Skinfinity Cosmetic Clinic, and are essential for maintaining the healthy appearance of your skin. It is recommended that you have a course of 4 treatments in order to see maximum results.
