Saxenda is a prescription weight loss injectable that can support you to lose weight when used alongside a healthy lifestyle. Taken once a day, the medication works to reduce your appetite.

Both Wegovy and Saxenda work in the same way, stimulating the GLP-1 hormone to suppress appetite. However, they feature different ingredients. Saxenda contains liraglutide rather than semaglutide and is injected daily rather in comparison to Wegovy which is injected weekly. 

Both medications start working straight away, you should start to notice your appetite is suppressed after your first few doses.
