(Platelet Rich Plasma)
PRP involves taking blood from one part of your body and injecting into the parts that you are unhappy with. This stimulates the skin to increase blood flow to the area and new collagen is formed.
PRP facial rejuvenation
A safe, risk-free way of achieving noticeable, long-lasting skin rejuvenation without the need for medication or surgery. PRP involves taking blood from one part of your body and injecting it into the parts that you are unhappy with. This stimulates the skin to increase blood flow to the area, new collagen is formed (the springy substance that makes skin look and feel firm), and the skin undergoes rejuvenation. This is all part of the body’s natural healing process.
As with all treatments at Skinfinity, you will only ever be seen by our highly trained, experienced medical team. We offer PRP treatments in our London and Leeds clinics.

How does it work?
PLATELET POOR PLASMA
PLATELET RICH PLASMA
RED BLOOD CELLS
1. A SMALL SAMPLE OF BLOOD IS
TAKEN FROM YOUR ARM
2. THE BLOOD IS THEN PLACED IN A
CENTRIFUGE FOR A FEW MINUTES
AND SPUN AT HIGH SPEED.
3. A STERILE SYRINGE IS USED TO
WITHDRAW ONLY THE PRP (PLATELET
RICH PLASMA) FROM THE SAMPLE.
4. THE PRP IS INJECTED INTO THE
PROBLEM AREAS OF THE SKIN AND
COLLAGEN IS PRODUCED
Platelet Rich Plasma is combined with our Dermapen treatment to make what is otherwise known as the “Vampire Facial”.
